Anyway, I want to start off with what I believe my style is. I'm very inspired by the past in just about every aspect of my life, but especially when it comes to the way that I dress. Depending on my mood, and how I can configure my clothes to look, I'll dress anyway from the fortiesque to the nineties. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a vintage dresser. I'm no Dita Von Teese, but I modernize a lot of it, and I try to keep it comfortable and cute.
These are some outfits that I would wear. These aren't clothes that I own, but they're close enough. I'd wear all of these outfits on almost any occasion: school, church, work, lazy day.
Full Effort:
This is literally the most effort that I'll ever put into any outfit. My outfits may look complicated and dressed up, but they're just simple. Everything I have is either simple and neutral, or a floral dress, that way I can mix and match a million different ways. I really love high waisted things, flat shoes, and collars.
Moderate Effort:
Lazy Day:
I have two pairs of harem pants that I got at Urban Outfitters and that's pretty much as lazy as I get. If it's cold, which it never is here in Southern California, I might wear leggings and a large sweater, but that's rare. I don't love leggings because of the effort that it takes to put them on and off.
As you can see, everything I have is really plain, and it really isn't that hard to make my outfits, you just need a few essentials:
white slouchy tee/tank
high waisted shorts (all of mine are thrifted)
solid/printed dresses
flip flops/flats
high waisted shorts (all of mine are thrifted)
solid/printed dresses
flip flops/flats
small brown cross body bag (goes with everything!)
There you have it! Not as complicated as you might have thought, huh. I hope you enjoyed this!
au revoir, mes cheres! <3
I love dresses! They are really cute but also great and comfy when you don't feel like putting an outfit together :)
