Spring Break in Winter

Last week, March 10-14, was my spring break. Yes, I understand that that isn't even spring, it is winter. Oh well, my school is weird like that. Anyway, it was nice to get away from this school. It is ALWAYS nice to get away from this school.

I kept extremely busy, which is strange since I usually just sleep and watch netflix for hours and hours during breaks. Not this time (: But, I kinda wish I had. Keeping busy isn't really my cup of tea, unfortunately. I am a very lazy person. I don't like doing much. But, I did this time!

Saturday night I spent in bed, and most of sunday, but on sunday night, I went out with Andrew and Sergio! We had boba and Fives Guys. It was sooo nice to see them!

On Monday, I went to Barnes&Noble. I stayed there for quite a long time, trying to figure out what books to get. I settled on The Great Gasby, Absalom Absalom!, and This Lullaby.

On Tuesday, I had tea and went back to Barnes&Noble with Kendyl. I've known Kendyl all of high school, but we didn't become friends until this year! It was really nice to hang out with her. She's so adorable and the greatest listener (:

On Wednesday, I went shopping with Sergio and Megan. Malls are so nice on Wednesday afternoons because no one is there. I don't like big crowds of people, especially when I'm trying to shop. I actually prefer to shop alone. It was a lot of fun. We also went to Santana Row

On Thurday, I had a doctor's appt. Then I had band practice at church. After being at this school so long, I see worship leading in a completely different light, and I hope to be able to lead more in the future. This week in church was Christmas, which was pretty awesome.

On Friday, I got my car serviced. I spent to hours at the honda dealership, reading and sipping tea. It wasn't that bad really. Then, I had a movie night. Those are always great! And I got to see not only Megan, Sergio, and Andrew, but also Nathan and Jordan, who I missed terribly. We watched The Blair Witch Project. Interesting for sure. I had already seen it, but it was cool to watch it again.

On Saturday, I spent the day in San Francisco with Joy! I only live 45mins from San Francisco, yet I never go there for some reason. We ventured through Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, then we had super yummy food in Japantown. It is always so great when I get to see Joy. I miss her so much :(

But now, I'm back at school. I hate it here, but I have to deal with it for six more weeks. .I really hope that my application goes through in time, and that I get accepted into CUI because then I won't have to deal with this whole housing thing here at APU. I also really just need to get out of this school. I don't know if it is this school, or just my life, but I have this overwhelming feeling of sadness and depression all the time, and it is keeping me from being myself. It makes me really sad just knowing that I am sad. Hopefully I will find some relief soon.
